visas, garage sales, and nerves

Last week my mom and I watched a webinar (online seminar) on how to get a French student visa. France is one of the more complicated countries and it feels like the process with take years but I just keep in mind the end goal. It might be hard and frustrating at times but it is just another step towards France.

Last week I also renewed my passport and finalized a date for a garage sale!! The garage sale will be June 11th at mi casa and there will be a whole lot of cool things for sale (I promise) so mark your calendars and come out if you can or if you have anything you would like to get rid of you can donate it to the sale.

Each time I take another step the fact that I will be spending ten months away from home becomes more of a reality to me. As excited as I am to go, the fact is that not everyone has an amazing experience abroad. I want it to be this inspiring, transformative journey and I am hopeful that it will be but I also do not want to get my hopes too high. I know there will be ups and downs and I know that it will not be easy but I also want it to be fun. My hope is that even if I am the most nervous I have ever been, I will be able to adapt and succeed in France.

À tout à l'heure,
Anj
